Heat Map is a collaborative storytelling game about communities under stress. Over the course of 2 hours, players map out a fictional world facing real world problems – urban heatwaves, water scarcity, social isolation – and discover how the complicated web of people, places, and power shifts and tangles in a crisis scenario. Heat Map was commissioned by Arts House for Refuge, an artist-led emergency relief centre.
